Guest Turbo Posted July 25, 2004 Report Posted July 25, 2004 Just wondered, as my Galaxys radiator is weeping a bit, has anyone changed one before ? According to the Haynes manual you seemingly have to take half the the car to bits, well ok, at least the battery, battery tray and the front bumper. The trouble is, once you commit yourself to a job like this there`s no going back. It does appear to be well hidden in there when you look. Thanks..... Quote
Ivor_E_Tower Posted July 26, 2004 Report Posted July 26, 2004 We've had a problem before with someone undoing battery tray retaining bolts! Be very careful if doing this :( Pre- or post- facelift car involved? Quote
Guest Turbo Posted July 27, 2004 Report Posted July 27, 2004 That`s right Ivor, I remember now.......something to do with engine mountings I think. Well anyway, I don`t like using it but I put some radiator stuff in, the one you crumble up, to see if it would stop it and it has, so far. Quote
Guest Andyjflet Posted July 27, 2004 Report Posted July 27, 2004 I too would go for the old "dog turd" crumbled into your radiator, used it for years and various vehicles and never let me down. Andy Quote
rwtomkins Posted July 27, 2004 Report Posted July 27, 2004 Tut tut, I'm sure there's some old proverb that says you'll get your comeuppance in the end. Quote
